DESCRIPTION:A city-wide Media Campaign (radio\, TV\, billboards\, social media) has begun that will pose the question\, “What Happens After We Die?” for everyone in Austin to consider. \nLocal pastor\, John Burke wrote the best-selling book\, Imagine Heaven to describe the experiences of thousands of people who have gone through a “near death experience” (NDE) and come back to tell amazing stories of their journeys.  You can hear about the campaign here. \n  \nThe stories are compelling but even more exciting – this city-wide campaign will make heaven top-of-mind for everyone in Austin and lead to thousands of spiritual conversations for those prepared to capitalize on the opportunity!\nThat’s where Cru comes in. We are preparing a seminar to equip you with easy\, simple ways to have those spiritual conversations with people intrigued by the campaign. \n \nDr. Mary Neal\nHear her story here. \nJoin the Cru staff team and volunteers for a luncheon seminar on\, How to Start Spiritual Conversations based on the “What’s After” campaign. \nBarna surveys indicate that while the average person in the marketplace won’t attend a church\, they are having conversations in the workplace about spiritual matters every week! You can help meet that interest!\nAt this seminar you will learn: \n\nHow to build rapport to open the door to meaningful conversations\nHow to recognize spiritual interest based on the media campaign\nHow to use free books about the topic we will give you!\nHow to springboard from interest in the campaign to spiritual conversations\nHow to sensitively transition to sharing the gospel\n\nWe will give you copies of the book\, “What’s After Life” to give to your friends to further springboard from the campaign. This book is a shorter version of the best seller mentioned above. \nThis will be a unique and strategic outreach to the whole city.
